What operators ask about memberships.

How do member credits work?

Each plan can include a number of service credits (e.g. one facial per month) and member-only discounts (e.g. 10% off add-ons). Credits draw down automatically at checkout; unused credits roll over or expire based on your rule.

What happens when a card fails?

Stripe’s dunning runs automatically with a configurable retry schedule. Members are notified by email; you see the failure on the membership dashboard. You can keep or revoke access during dunning.

Can members pause their membership?

Yes, if you allow it. Pause is per billing cycle. The member is not charged during the pause and credits don’t accrue. Resume is one tap from the portal or the staff app.

Can a family share one membership?

Yes. Family and corporate plans have one billing source and multiple members. Credits can be shared across members or allocated per member.

Do I have to use the EstheticSense Client portal for memberships?

Members can manage everything via the portal, but the front desk can also handle every action manually — upgrades, pauses, cancellations, and card updates.
