Do you handle the payment processing yourself?
No — Stripe processes every card. EstheticSense never stores card numbers on our servers; cards are tokenized by Stripe. Standard Stripe rates apply — see our pricing FAQ for details on how Stripe charges flow through to you.
How are tips handled across providers?
You can configure tip splits per service or per visit. The reports surface tips per provider and per shift; tips are stored separately from revenue for payroll.
Can a client pay with a gift card and a credit card?
Yes. The checkout supports split payments across card, gift card, package credit, store credit, and cash. The platform reconciles automatically.
What about refunds and voids?
Refunds (full or partial) and voids both run from the checkout screen with reason capture and an audit log. Refunding a package credit returns the credit; refunding a gift card returns the balance.
Is the payment data PCI-compliant?
Card data is tokenized by Stripe — EstheticSense never holds raw card numbers. We rely on Stripe’s PCI compliance for the card handling itself. See our security page for the full posture.
